After Surgery

After Surgery

Your Recovery

Your eye surgeon will give you detailed pre- and post-operative instructions. In general, you can expect to:

Take prescribed eye drops to help your eyes heal.

Not drive the day of your cataract surgery. Your doctor will tell you when you can drive again.

Achieve optimal results usually between one and three months post-operatively. Visual recovery depends on personal healing patterns and compliance with your doctor’s post-operative instructions (e.g., follow-up visits and medications).

Have greater visual freedom and enjoy the things you love – from reading a story to your grandchild, to posting on social media, to enjoying the theater or simply dancing the night away!
